Welcome to the Delaware Valley Civil
War Roundtable Homepage
The April 21st Roundtable Meeting and the May 30th Manor College seminar has been canceled.
The Delaware Valley Civil War Round Table is
a group of civil war enthusiasts, both men and women, who share
a common interest, and meet to study and exchange information on
the Civil War. It is an independent organization, formed in April
of 1992, with a constitution and elected officers, to promote information,
knowledge, and fellowship.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each
month at the Radisson
Hotel, Route 1 at Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose, PA, right
outside Philadelphia. A different topic, given by knowledgeable,
well-prepared presenters, is discussed at each meeting. Meetings
begin at 7:30pm.
We are involved in educational programs and
take field trips to Civil War sites as a group. A newsletter is
published monthly with information on our meetings, programs, and
other Civil War activities.
The Delaware Valley Civil War Round Table is
dedicated to bringing knowledge and information to all those interested.
Our members come from all walks of life and professions. Round Table
members have taught classes, seminars, have authored books and have
worked with city, state, and federal governments on various issues.
Our re-enactors have and will make themselves available to schools
to bring knowledge of the Civil War to young children. The Round
Table also has developed programs for all ages with our Civil War
Institute at Manor College in Jenkintown.
If you need any information concerning
